A viewing was held Tuesday evening at HustonJost Funeral Home. At her request no formal service will be held. A private burial will be in the Lebanon I.O.O.F. Cemetery. She was born Nov.

28, 1913, in Shelburn, the daughter Frank and Lola (Faulkner) Grimes. She moved to Lebanon when she was threeyears-old. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1932. She married Leland Tucker on Jan. 13, 1940.

Mrs. Tucker was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Royal Neighbors Lodge in Lebanon. She is survived by her sister Glenna Andross of Lebanon; grandson Evan Tucker of Arizona; greatgranddaughter Marissa; nephews Tom and Steve Andross of Lebanon; niece Sherri Myronenko of Lebanon; and several great-nieces and nephews. Her husband Leland, son Dwight and sister Jean Pierce died before she did. The family requests that memorial contributions be sent to The Leukemia Society Oregon Chapter in care of Huston-Jost Funeral Home, 86 W.

She worked locally as a teacher's aid for Hamilton Creek and Gore schools. Mrs. Vian was a lifetime member of Eastern Star and also belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband Thomas of Lebanon; daughters Judy Weirich of Louisville, and Paula Atwood of Rathdrum, Idaho; sisters Rayola Moore of Victorville, and Shirley Bartes of West Lakeo, Texas; grandchildren Thomas Peterson of Hillsboro, Christopher Peterson of San Diego, Loren Weirich of Death Valley, and Levi Weirich of Lebanon. A memorial service was held Feb. 23 a at the Lebanon Kingdom Hall. He was born Jan. 4, 1921, in Monticello, the son of Herman and Lena (Rothlisberger) Kruesi. He.

served in the U.S. Army during World War II. After the war, he moved to Brownsville. He lived in the Brownsville, Sweet Home and Lebanon areas most of his life. He worked as a timber faller.

He married Verna Turrentine in Vancouver, on Feb. 9, 1968. Mr. Kruesi was an active member of the Lebanon Kingdom Hall. He is survived by his wife Verna of Lebanon; daughters Darlene Jordt, Collene Mahan, and Sharon Graham, all of La Pine; son Loren Kruesi of Albany; stepsons and one stepdaughter; brother Jerry Kruesi of Brownsville; sisters Meta Bidwell of Manning; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was born in Hastings, the daughter of Charles and Martha Hedwig (Ebert) Olson. She married Walter on Aug. 4, 1936, and they moved to Sweet Home in 1952. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to St. Helen's Catholic Church born in West Terre Haute, to Ernie and Katherine (Ellingsworth) Volkers. He attended schools in Arizona. He enlisted in the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam as a demolition engineer.

In 1981 he married Dorothy Zivello. They moved to Sweet Home and later divorced. Mr. Volkers worked as a police officer for 12 years, tended bar at many locations in the Sweet Home area has managed bars and restaurants. He was a commander for the VFW post in Sweet Home in 1988 and 1989.

He is survived by sons Skip of Tulare, Andy of Sweet Home, and Tony Zivello of Arizona; daughter Alicia Volkers of Sweet Home; brothers Ed, Phillip, and Marv, Food Bank. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Douglas Wayne Henderson May 6, 1932 Feb. 16, 2008 Douglas Wayne Henderson, 75, of La Grande, died Feb. 16, 2008, at a local care facility.

A celebration of life was held Feb. 22 at the Foursquare Gospel Church in Lebanon. He was born on May 6, 1932, in Hannibal, to Claude and- Mabel (Hagen) Henderson. He graduated from Lebanon High School. He moved to La Grande about five years ago.

He married Artheda Rae Lander on May 4, 1957, at the Lebanon Presbyterian Church. Mr. Henderson enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1952. He is survived by his wife Artheda of La Grande; sons Doug Henderson of La Grande, Richard Henderson of Milton, daughter Zanna Nelson of Lebanon; brother Buford Henderson of Lebanon; seven grandchildren; and eight great children.
