She was a member of the Eastern Star in Alaska and was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Beryl Todd of Lebanon; son Dennis Todd of Portland; two grand-so ns and five great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be Jan. 8 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Jost Funeral Home, which is handling arrangements. Private tnterment will be in Lebanon's IOOF Cemetery.

He was born Jan. 20, 1907 in Halscy. He had lived in Lebanon since he was 11. He worked in logging, at the Crown Zcllerbach Paper Mill and at various area 1)lywood and lumber mills. The ast 15 years of his working life, he was a self-employed carpenter.

lie belonged to the National Rifleman's Association. He married Betty Alvin June 28, 1936 in Lebanon. She died April 9. 1985. Survivors Include one son, Mike Curtis of Lebanon; four grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

Services will be Thursday, Jan. 9, at 2 p.m. at Huston Funeral Home, which will handle arrangements, Private vault interment will follow at Lebanon's lOOF Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels or the Linn County Humane Society and left at the funeral home. Richard Smith Richard L.

Smith, 58. of Waterloo died Jan. 5 at Lebanon Community Hospital. He was bom Jan. 11, 1933 in to Clarence and Gertrude Smith.

He was raised and lived in Massachusetts until he joined the U.S. Air Force in 1953. He was stationed In various places during his 26-year career. He retired in 1979 and worked as a civil service supply clerk at Fort Lewis. He came to Lebanon three years ago.

Survivors include three sons, Allan and Michael Smith, both of Lebanon, and Richard Smith of Tacoma, two brothers, Clarence Smith of Maynard, and Donald Smith of Texas; one sister, Ann Laviguer of Massachusetts; and five grandchildren. Services will be 3 p.m. Thurs day, Jan. 9 at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Pastor Douglas Fields will Huston Funeral Home will handle arrangements.
