Ad- Rites Held For William Waddle William Ira Waddle, 74, died at his Sweet Home residence, Friday afternoon following a brief illness. Mr. Waddle, a retired stockman and butcher, had lived in that community for the past 23 years. Mr. Waddle was born at Jefferson, May 3, 1882.

He is survived by his wife, Maude Mae of' Sweet Home, and nine children, Clifford and Everett, both of' Portland; Don, Redmond; Kenneth, Arcata, Lyle, Sweet Home; Mrs. James Swansiger, Portland; Mrs. Ed Longton and Mrs. Ed Pittsley, both of Port Orford; and Mrs. Maymon Calvert, Sweet Home; two sisters, Mrs.

Riley Weeks of- Lebanon and Mrs. Burns Taylor of Wauna, 15 grandchil-1 dren and three great-grandchildren. Services were. conducted at the Huston chapel in Sweet Home this afternoon. Rev.
