She survives. The couple operated a motel in Bend for a year before returning to Lebanon. He was a past commander of the Iek'inon VFW post and was most recently a trustee of that group He had tefonged! to the American Ix'gion post in Mill Ci ty for 18 years and the Letmnnn American legion Post No. 51. He In-longed to the Albany and Mill City Eagles.

He was a member of the Kdsel Owners of America. Other survivors include one stepson, Edward Stankey of Lebanon; one Stepdaughter, Helen McKinnie of Gresham; one grandson, Jacob Andreason Fred Nutt Fred Nutt of Lacomb died June 4 at Hospice House in Portland. He was SO. He was born Aug. 27, 1909 in TPeru, He lived in Kansas until moving Bend in 1936.

He served in the S. Navy during World War II. He returned to Kansas from Bend in 1947. In 1948, he moved to Drain, where he worked, as a lumber grader until coming to Lacomb in 19(17. He worked at Linn Gear Company from 1967-1972 when he retired.

He belonged to the Lacomb Baptist Church He was an active member of the Lacomb Irrigation District and he served on the board of directors for many years. He had been an active member of the Drain American Legion. He married Bonnie Allman Ju-. 1 ly 27, 1930 near Trading Post. Kan.

She survives. Other survivors include one son, Howard Nutt of Beaverton; one daughter, Dolah Olsson of Dallas and four grandchildren. Services were June 7 at Lacomb Baptist Church. Pastor I Paul Coulombe Vault interment followed at lacomb Cemetery. Huston Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
