Even though a personal appeal was made to all donors in the area only 84 people gave blood, according to Red Cross, authorities. Of this number 11 were not permitted to donate, netting 73 pints of blood. The quota set for each of the four yearly visits is 150 pints. Three visits so far this year have netted 1 255 pints, 195 pints short of quota, Mrs. Nellie Ames donated her 56th pint of blood, making her a seven galloneer.

Sweet Home EM 7-4196. 64-1p Dies in Idaho Mrs. Beulah E. Grugett, 75, Meridian, former Lebanon resident, died last Sunday at a Boise hospital after a long illness. Funeral was Wednesday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa and interment was at Kohlerlawn there, Mrs.

Grugett was born Oct. 29, 1885, at Louisville, and was raised in Missouri. She married Albert Martin Grugett on her birthday in 1905 at Haiti, and they lived in Joplin, Tulsa, and Sims, until his death in 1915. Mrs. Grugett and her family lived in Missouri and then moved to Lebanon in 1920.

In 1941 she went to Nampa to live with her daughter and later she lived at Boise. She had lived at Meridian since March of this year. Mrs. Grugett was a member of the Nampa. First, Baptist Church, the Women's Relief Corps, Royal Neighbors of America and was a past president of the United Spanish War Veterans Auxiliary, Besides her daughter, Mrs.

Survivors are his widow; his son, William Cave Junction, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; his brother Leslie, Salem; and his sister, Mrs. Jennie Klampe, Salem.
