Lebanon Express, Wednesday, July 20, 2011 A7 OBITUARIES Sally Ann Wolfe 20, 1933 July 17, 2011 Sally Ann Wolfe, 78, of Lebanon, died at The Oaks on July 17,2011. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on July 23 at Southside Church of Christ. A private burial service will be at Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet SALLY WOLFE Home. She was born Jan.

20, 1933, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the daughter of Jack and lone (Stringfellow) Keyes. She married James D. Wolfe on July 30, 1950, in Iowa. They later moved to Oregon. She belonged to Southside Church of Christ.

She enjoyed going to garage sales, shopping, and attending her grandchil- dren's sporting events. She is survived by sons Don Wolfe and his wife Tricia Lake, of Stevens, and Ron Wolfe and his wife Linda, of Lebanon; sister Nancy Steffensen, of Marshalltown, Iowa; seven grandchildren; 16 great -grandchildren. Her husband Jim, died on July 30, 2000. Her granddaughter Lisa also died before she did. Grant Lebanon OR 97355. Sharon Ann Hoffman Sept. 16, 1945 July 11, 2011 Sharon Ann Hoffman, 65, of Lebanon, died July 11, 2011, at Avamere Rehabilitation of Lebanon. A celebration of life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on July 22 at Avamere Rehabilitation of Lebanon.

She was born in Lebanon to Clarence and Olive Graham. She lived in Lebanon her entire life and worked at Avamere Rehabilitation of Lebanon for 44 years. She is survived by her daughter Chris Reigstad; grandson Jonathan Reigstad; sister Kay Currey; and brother Terry Graham: Her parents died before she did. Sharon Lynn Forrester Oct. 5, 1954 July 11, 2011 Sharon' 'Lynn Forrester, 56, of Lebanon, died July 11, 2011, at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. A graveSHARON side service FORRESTER was held July 15 at Lebanon I.0.0.F. Cemetery. She was born in Lebanon on Oct.

5, 1954. She moved with her family to Fairfield, where she attended school. She graduated from Fairfield High School in the class of 1973. Soon after her graduation, she returned to Lebanon, where she has resided since. She married Jaime Forrester in Lebanon on Nov.

1, 1986. Mrs. Forrester is survived by her husband Jaime of Lebanon; son Chris of Lebanon; brothers James D. Erwin Jr. of and John D.

Erwin of Dallas; and sister Karen A. Lenhard of Lebanon. Miller 'Bill' Taylor June 24, 1933 July 13, 2011 Miller "Bill" Taylor, 78, of Lebanon, died July 13, 2011, at his home. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on July 23 at the Bible Baptist Mission Church, 2900 S.

Main St. in Lebanon: A private inurnment will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Coos Bay. He was born June 24, 1933, in Baxter's Landing, the son of Charley and Lottie (Yokum) Taylor. He grew up in the town of Lampe, where he attended his elementary education. He graduated from Blue Eye High School in 1951.

He attended Missouri State for two years. He served for two years in the US. Army and was active during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge, he moved to Coos Bay and took a job at Coos Bay Lumber in Millington. He later worked for Weyerhauser in North Bend, where he worked as a millwright for 31 years.

He retired in the late 1980s. He moved to Brownsville in 1989, and has lived in Lebanon for the past 10 years. Mr. Taylor attended the Bible Baptist Church in Lebanon. He married Janice G.

Bartley on March 30, 1957, in North Bend. He is survived by his wife Janice of Lebanon; daughters Susan Taylor- Fink of Caldwell, Idaho, and Rebecca Martin of North Bend; brother Carl Taylor of Lampe; twin sister Mildred Latimer of Colorado Springs, sister, Fern Etcheson of Berryville, and three grandchildren. Four brothers, Raymond, Luther, Willard and Floyd Taylor, died before he did. The family requests memorial contributions be sent to the Bible Baptist Mission Church, 200 Market St. No.

277, Lebanon OR 97355. Huston- Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Fred Vernon McCown Oct. 2, 1918 July 9, 2011 Fred Vernon McCown, 92, of Lebanon, died July 9, 2011, at Willamette Manor in Lebanon from age relat ed causes. He was born in Beatrice, on Oct.

2, 1918, the son of Fred and Cora Rudder McCown. The family moved to Clay Center, where he graduated from high school in 1936. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps in October 1942, and served in Italy during World War II. He was awarded the bronze star and honorably discharged in 1946. He moved to Lebanon after the war.

He worked at Champion Plywood until his retirement. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Freddie Lee and Betty McCown of Lebanon; sister and brother- in law, Amy. and Autis Hayes of Lebanon; numerous nieces and nephews; and very special friends, Carolyn and Rod Gerig of Lebanon. His sisters Norma Cassell and Jean Solander Johnson; and brother Jack R. McCown died before he did.

Carol Dean Johnston March 27, 1939 July 9, 2011 Carol Johnston, 72, of Sweet Home, died July 9,2011. She was born in Wheeling, W.V., to Paul and Virginia (Twyman) Wallace. She was raised in Ohio and California and graduated from high school in San Luis Obispo, Calif. She married Roy Johnston on Jan. 17, 1959.

While Mr. Johnston was in the U.S. Navy, they lived in Texas. In 1972, they moved to Brownsville. She is survived by daughter Janet Johnston of Sweet Home; son-in-law Raymond Lingenfelter of Sweet Home; siblings Judith McGill of Redmond, Connie Jensen of Notus, Idaho, Linda Koehne of Sweet Home, Ruth Deal of Albany, Mike Wallace of Blythe, and Sonny Wallace of Lebanon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her husband Roy Johnston and sisters Jeanette Crunk and Sharon Miller died before she did. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Dianne Classen Feb. 7, 1931 July 13, 2011 Dianne Classen, 80, of Lebanon, died July 13, 2011. Private burial was at Gilliland Cemetery.

No services are planned at this time. She was born in Pine alls, Manitoba, Canada, to Fred and DIANNE CLASSEN Ivah (Nagle) Luhde. Her family came to Oregon in 1944. She played the cornet at a young age. In the 1960s, she and her husband purchased an organ and she played for church.

By the time she graduated from West Albany High School in 1983, she had amassed dozens of awards and trophies for excellence, including placing second in the Oregon State FreeThrow Championships, and earning her varsity letter in volleyball, basketball, softball and track. While still in school, she became a cadet firefighter, later earning Rookie of the Year.

She attended LinnBenton Community College, where she continued her athletic career, and studied fire suppression and emergency medical technology at Chemeketa Community College. In addition to working at the Albany Fire Department, she worked for the U.S. Forest Service. She graduated second in her class at the Engine Academy, and was a member of the famed Hot -Shots firefighters team. As a crew leader, she was often deployed to remote areas by helicopter to fight behind Denise Rose Prosa, 46, of Nampa, Idaho, died July 9, 2011, in her sleep.

She was born in Corvallis, the youngest child of Curt and Rosalie Pros a DENISE PROSA (Christy). She grew fire lines. She competed in firemen's musters and was a coach for the Special Olympics. She married Bill Edgar and lived in Carson, where she was a coach of the high school softball team before divorcing and moving to Nampa. Her stepfather Albert J.

Christy, and grandparents Gilbert and Dorothy Prosa, and Lewis and Frances Sytsma died before she did. She is survived by her companion Fredda Rippen; Fredda's daughter Myrissa; parents Mrs. Albert J. (Rosalie) Christy, and Curt and Nancy Prosa of Lebanon; brothers Brad and his wife Julie of Lebanon, and their son, Ryan; and Tod Prosa, and his wife, Elisabeth, and their daughters Chelsi, Tia and Taylor, and son, Conner; stepbrother Albert Christy; and a large extended family. 6, 1917 July 16, 2011 Ann A. Emerson, 94, of Lebanon, died at her home, July 16, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on July 23 at St. Martin's Episcopal Church.

A private inurnment will be in the Lebanon, I.0.O.F. Cemetery. She was born Feb. 6, 1917, in Commerce, the daughter of William and Van Dora (Patterson) Ward. She lived in many places and worked many different jobs throughout her early adult life.

She moved to Lebanon in 1954, where she has resided since. Her last job was with the State of Oregon Employment Division, where she worked with the WIN Program until retiring in the early 1980s. She was an active member of St. Martin's Episcopal Church. She is survived by sons George Dennison of Portland and Hal Emerson of Salem; daughter Barbara Carroll of Justin, Texas; "adopted daughters" Carolyn and Sharon; 11 grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren and 12 greatgreat -grandchildren.

Her husband Cecil Emerson died in 1975. Sharp, 69, of Lebanon, died after a short battle with cancer, July 16, 2011, at Albany General Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on July 22 at Lebanon I.O.O.F. Cemetery. She was born April 26, 1942, in Lebanon, the daughter of Edwin and Jessica (White) Keenon.

She graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1960. She married Gerald Sharp in Sweet Home, on Dec. 27, 1960. The couple resided in the Sweet Home area until 1980, when they moved to Washington state. They returned to Lebanon earlier this year.

She is survived by her husband Gerald of Lebanon; son Mark Sharp of Ocean Shores, daughter Geryl McGowan of Brownsville; grandchildren Bill, Jeni and Jessica; greatgranddaughter Brooklynn.
