Kitsy Ranee Griffith April 21, 1958 Sept. 3, 2013 fixing them RICHARD RASH Kitsy Ranee Griffith, 55, died on Sept.

3, 2013, in North Bend. Services were held on Sept. 14, 2013, at Keizer Elks Lodge. She was born on April 21, 1958, to Nancy Prosa and Frank Nichols. She grew up in Aumsville and went to school there.

She was active in choir and cheerleading. After high school, she worked for the state of Oregon as a secretary, executive secretary and later an administrative assistant. She worked at the Board on Police Standards and Training, Department of Justice, Attorney General's office, Department of Administrative Services and the Governor's Office for the chief of staff. She retired after 35 years of service with the state. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by sons Ethan and Darik Griffith, of Salem; father Frank (Cindy) Nichols, of Aumsville; mother Nancy (Curt) Prosa, of Lebanon; siblings Shereen (Steven) Lanzarotta, of Culver City, Monique (Dexter) Zoda, of Onalaska, and Kirk (Anna) Nichols, of Boulder, Lebanon Express, Wednesday, September 25, 2013 A7 Price Nov. 12, 1972; Sept. 14, 2013 Scott Anthony Price, 40, died on Sept. 14, 2013. A celebration of life was held on Sept.

21 at the Price family home in Lebanon. He was born on Nov. 12, 1972, in Augsburg, Germany. He was diagnosed in February 2013 with Leukemia ALL and had a stem 1 cell transplant in May. He was tested as cancer free in late August, but SCOTT PRICE developed an infection that overtook his SCOTT PRICE body and was deemed not treatable.

He spent his elementary school years in Harrisburg and attended Junction City High School his junior and senior years, graduating in 1990. He started working for Fisher Implement when he was 17 and spent the next 23 years with the company that is now Pape' Machinery. He served as a technician and most recently as a service supervisor. He taught classes on small engines at LinnBenton Community College. He is survived by wife Amy (Yarborough) Price.

They were married on Nov. 24, 1995. Scott was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by children Sara and husband Carl Bagg, of Shedd, Samuel and wife Stephanie Whipple, of Brownsville, and Alexis Claire Price, of Lebanon; parents Pete and Janice Price, of Halsey; grandfather Al Strutz, of Halsey; sister Tricia Hansen; brother-in-law Dustin Hansen, of Madras; grandchildren Kaedyn, Kandler, Karlee, MacKenzie and Leighton; many nieces and nephews; and best friends Shane and Alice Stewart, and Chad and Ginger Harter. Contributions in his honor may be made to the Lebanon Explosion! Dance Team.

14, 2013 Marion Louise Rothman, 86, of Lebanon, died on Sept. 14, 2013, at Willamette Manor Foster Care Home. Private family services will be held. She was born Dec. 14, 1926, in Wheeling, to Charles and Esther (Narr) Utley.

She lived in Northern California for most of her adult life. She served as a volunteer firefighter and paramedic in Cottonwood, Calif. She was an artist and was known throughout Northern California for her oil paintings. She moved to Lebanon 10 years ago. 18, 2013 Richard Doyle Rash, 84, of Tangent, died on Aug. 18, 2013, at Samaritan Hospice House in Albany. At his request, no services will be held. He was born on Dec. 8, 1928, in Quinter, to Florence and Charles Rash.

He married Lola Mae Inloes on May 14, 1955, in Quinter. He moved to Oregon in 1959. He served two years in the U.S. Army. He worked at Wah Chang for 35 years.

25, 1921 Sept. 15, 2013 Warren (Wally) L. Wallace, 92, of Creswell, formerly of Sweet Home, died on Sept. 15, 2013, after suffering a stroke. A service with military honors was held Sept.

24 at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. He was born on Jan. 25, 1921, in Marshall, Texas, to Eugene Blocker and Willie Alice (Perry) Wallace. He lived in East Texas and Southern California' in his early years. He went to work at the Marshall Creamery at age 14.

He joined the U.S. Army in 1937, serving at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, where he was on the post boxing team. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1940, where he became a hospital operating room technician. He served in World War II with an expeditionary Marine Corps.

He also served in the South Pacific. He was promoted to Navy chief in April 1945. He earned several medals for his military service. He served at the Navy Hospital in Guam after WWII. During the Korean War, he served with the Marine Air Wing in Korea and in Japan.He retired from the Navy in 1957.

He moved with his family to Sheridan, in 1971, and worked at. the Veterans Affairs Hospital there as the assistant chief of hospital management. In 1973, he moved to California where he became assistant chief of hospital management for the VA Hospital in Long Beach. He retired from civil service in 1978, to study small engine repair and became a licensed small engine repairman. He moved to Sweet Home in 1980.

He operated Wally's Small Engine Repair. He married Elizabeth Dillman Oberlin in 1952. He married Ardyce Riddle Rice in 1985. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, a member of the American Legion, a member of the Northwest Chapter of the Second Marine Division Association and a plank holder in the Navy Memorial. He is survived by wife Ardyce; children Doug (Darcy) Wallace, of South Lake Tahoe, Elizabeth (Ed) Ellers, of Haverford, David Wallace, of Alaska, Ken (Jan) Rice, of Salem, Jim (Trina) Rice, of Lowell, Karla Burcham, of Sweet Home, Doreen (David) Chaput, of Lebanon, Jacob (Stephanie) Rice, of Sweet Home, Ronda (Greg) Denver, of Sweet Home; 18 grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren and brother Bill Wallace, of San Bernardino, Calif.

She was born on Dec. 14, 1915, in Blachly to Edwin J. and Matilda "Tilly" (Sprague) Robertson. She graduated from MAJORIE Triangle HUTCHINS Lake High School. She married Paul Elman Hutchins on July 2, 1936, in Stevenson, Wash.

They were married for 46 years. They moved to Foster in 1941, and spent the rest of their lives in the Sweet Home area where they raised three children. Her husband Paul died on Aug. 1, 1982. She co-owned two businesses in the timber industry.

She was an active member of the Sweet Home Evangelical Church. She is survived by son Larry Ray (Anita) Hutchins; daughter Marilyn Sue Hendrickson; son-in-law Dean Knutson; 11 grandchildren and numerous greatand great -great -grandchildren. Husband Paul, daughter Darlene Joyce Knutson and son-in-law Luke Hendrickson died before she did. Contributions may be made in her name to Sweet. Home Evangelical Church or Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House in Albany.
